PS3 Red Dead Redemption continued

Sunday Morning, well actually it's nearly afternoon. I became the true game nerd yesterday and played RDR all day and well into the night and well into the morning, finally got kippin' around 3.30am. Dreamt of riding horses shooting critters and helpin' them folk in distress.

I've just eaten a hearty breakfast of Bacon Chorizo and Mushroom Omlette a couple of pieces of toast and a nice strong coffee. Now I can't wait to get back into the wild west once more. Gotta get all my skills up so when I go and play RDR online I wont be completely useless. Looking foward to playing online with many many people from many many places. See ya all online.

PS3 Red Dead Redemption

Howdy partners, to all those that could be bothered. Another week gone and this weekend is extended for an extra two days due to the fact that Monday is my birthday and I never work on my birthday, ever, and Tuesday has been taken off just for the hell of it. So a four day weekend just gotta love that. My Lovely has treated me to an early present and last night presented me with the new PS3 game from the Folk at Rockstar, Red Dead Redemption, check out the web page

www.rockstargames.com/reddeadredemption.

Set at the turn of the last century, it's a western themed Grand Theft Auto style of game. Superb graphics and excellent game play. I always wanted to be a cowboy, I've read all the Louis L'Amour and a heap of Max Brand western books, and now here I am being a cowboy (John Marston) who was once a baddy but is now trying to turn his life around for the better and is trying to be good. Giddy-Up dude.

Sunday Again

Ahh, what a wonderful week, Payday blew me away, as I said before, overtime is a wonderful thing. Lots of dollars in the bank, and at hand to squander. Live for now, not for tomorrow. I guess there would be many to argue that point. Soft boiled eggs for brekky and then sushi/sashimi for lunch before heading home for a Jameson whiskey on ice and then the grocery shopping out of the way. Sherlock Holmes on the PS3, Blue Ray Hi Def and Surround Sound the only way to spend this Sunday Arvo. Soon I'll wonder to the kitchen and partake in getting some kind of delicious Sunday evening fare on its way. Me thinks Beef Strips in a delectable mushroom gravy with oven roast potatoes and steamed veg. Yeah! the ants pants.

More Photes of the Good Stuff

Just Love it. Now the trick is not to over indulge... ahhh ferk it that's not the trick. Just keep on truckin'

Another Week

So It's later on.. How later? About a week. It's been a busy week at work, Deakin and Monash Universities have been holding exams and yours truly has been delivering and setting up Exam desks. I drive a truck for Valiant Hire of Melbourne, who by the way are "Setting Hire Standards". Thousands of desks are being set up all over this fine city for the CPA quarterly exams, over 4000 people want to be Accountants. Save us all. I guess lots of these people are Asian students and will eventually return home to practice Accountancy in there motherland.... Well it keeps me busy and gives me loads of overtime, just gotta love that double-time pay rate, and I do love driving a truck.

Pay day was Thursday and my most favorite thing to do on Thursday is to head on down to Northland Shopping Centre and have a wonderful Bento Box of Sushi and Sashimi from my favorite Japanese Take-Away for dinner. First thing to do is get home from work, wash off the days grime in a hot shower, and believe me hire furniture gets very grimy. Consume a beer or two, then a shot or two of Jameson Irish Whiskey and/or a shot or two of Doubs Mystique Absinthe. Eating sushi slightly to completely pissed is such a joy and highly recommended. Don't do this at home kids, see I am actually quite the responsible adult, ha. Once I have had my fill of raw fish, seaweed, marinated squid and rice I'll chill out for a while and get off on watching people wonder through the food court while I let the Bento Box settle. It's so much fun watching people who I don't know and making up stories about their lives. Who needs a zoo when you have a suburban food court.
A nice way to end the evening is to wonder off to Degani, a coffee shop located in one of the walkways inside Northland. Mark (cool name there dude) runs this particular Degani and he is the maestro of Iced Coffees, this man makes the absolute best Iced Coffee I have ever had the joy of sampling. Heavan in a tall glass.

Lets Start at the Very Beginning....

A very good place to start..... I actually saw the Sound of Music about 7 times when it was first released here in Australia way back when, 1965/66 I think. Saw it at the Cinema about 4 times(thanks Mom), saw it at the Drive-In about 3 times (thanks Dad), just loved Julie Andrews and all those singing juniors. But I'm getting away from it.

Favorite things, what would life be with out them. Oh, the pleasure of what chuffs me. Something as simple as the perfectly cooked soft boiled egg in my new Homer Simpson egg cup using my most favorite teaspoon, lots of finger toast loaded with butter, and the most perfectly brewed coffee sitting in my favorite Felix coffee cup. So simple and definantly the best way to start Sunday.

Now, is Sunday the start of the week or the end of the week? Looking at my current calendar Sunday is the first day of the week.

Now it's Sunday night, getting on a bit. And tomorrow being Monday is the first day of the working week and I'm due in at 6.30am. So I should do the right thing (the Good thing) to my body and get kippin'. And thanks to my Lovely, my most Favorite of all, the bed is freshly made, the doona is all puffed up and I just know it's going to be sooo cozy, It rates very high on the favorite list.

Catch ya soon.
